My name is Jennie Stark and I'm an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, specialising in working with children, young people and adults who are experiencing common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.

I am unable to accept any new clients at this time.

Making the decision to contact somebody about getting support with how you feel can be a difficult first step to make which is then followed by the daunting task of searching websites to find a therapist that meets your needs, has the right qualifications and is in the right location. If you feel you may be suffering with symptoms of depression and anxiety then I can help you make sense of the difficulties you are experiencing. I will show you techniques and tools that can be used daily to help you achieve your treatment goals. I am a qualified CBT therapist and this is the treatment recommended by NICE (which guides the NHS on how to treat certain health conditions) for the treatment of depression and anxiety. I strive to create a welcoming, warm and non-judgemental environment to ensure you feel comfortable and able to speak openly about any difficulties you may be having. I am based in Salford and close to the M602 if you live in the Greater Manchester area however I also offer Skype sessions if you are further afield.

Please take a look around my website to find out a little more about me, how CBT works, the cost of treatment and how to get in touch if you have any questions.

I am accredited with the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies.

I also accept referrals from solicitors, insurance companies and employers. I am a registered provider for Aviva, AXA PPP, Bupa, Cigna HealthCare and PruHealth. Some insurance companies allow the client to choose their own therapist, please contact me to discuss this. If you have health insurance, check with your provider what cover they offer for psychotherapy, as your treatment may be covered.
